Gastroenterology Specialist Position in Central Adelaide

SA Health is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Gastroenterology Consultant to join our dynamic team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. In this role, you will provide clinical leadership in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, ensuring the provision of effective and efficient services within the Gastroenterology Unit.
You will offer specialist consultations, lead a collaborative team approach to clinical care, and supervise the clinical practice of junior medical officers. Your expertise will be integral in guiding the development of best practice models for patient management and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will contribute to the education and professional development of both undergraduate and postgraduate students, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
You will work closely with the Head of Unit (HOU) to plan, organise, and optimise the delivery of clinical services, ensuring the hospital meets its goals in quality and best practice standards.

- Specialist qualifications in Gastroenterology
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Australasia
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- High-level clinical skills in gastroenterology, including endoscopy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Total Indicative Remuneration: $365,798 - $713,692 p.a. (pro rata)
- Permanent part-time working 11.25 hours per week
