Palliative Care Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Palliative Care Occupational Therapist to join our team at SA Health.
About the Role
This is a part-time opportunity, working 22.5 hours per week, with a temporary arrangement up to 30/6/2025. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality palliative care occupational therapy services to patients, their families, or carers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive palliative care occupational therapy services that result in appropriate care for patients at the end of life.
- Collaborate with other clinical seniors to actively promote and contribute to research and evaluation to inform improvements in clinical practice.
- Hold a portfolio relevant to services on behalf of CALHN OT, developing, nurturing, and promoting increased expertise and service improvements in the portfolio area.
- Represent CALHN on relevant committees and may be required to contribute to or manage relevant projects.

- A relevant qualification in occupational therapy, as outlined in the job pack.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience in palliative care occupational therapy, with a strong understanding of current best practice.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve excellent outcomes.
