Nurse Unit Manager Recovery Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our dynamic Recovery Unit team. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential support to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) in the day-to-day management of the unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
You will play a key role in coordinating the unit's operations, working closely with staff to maintain clinical excellence, while supporting the NUM in the planning and evaluation of care provision. In the absence of the NUM, you will step into a leadership role, ensuring the smooth and effective running of the unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct supervision to nursing staff and foster a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of clinical practices and provide mentorship to nursing staff, helping to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
What You'll Need- Registered Nurse with at least 3 years' post-registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising nursing staff and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work under minimal supervision.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare standards, legislative responsibilities, and quality improvement systems in the nursing context.
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- $100,343 - $107,279 per annum, plus superannuation and salary sacrifice benefits.
- Full-time temporary position up to 18/3/27.
