Infrastructure Project Cost Controller

At John Holland, our purpose is to transform lives through infrastructure development.
We're currently constructing some of Australia's most complex projects, including the Black Hill to Tomago M1, Gold Coast Light Rail, and Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre. To support this growth, we're seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a major $450m Water Infrastructure project in regional NSW.
Responsibilities- Track and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze specifications and standards to assess their impact on project costs.
- Apply cost control models to increase profitability by identifying variances between planned and actual costs.
- Analyze actual costs against planned costs and forecast final costs versus budget.
- Create tender event schedules for procurement programs.
- Manage budget/tender reconciliations, changes, and variance analysis.
- Quantify and cost construction work.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities and estimates.
- Tertiary or Trade Qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience working on infrastructure projects within the construction industry.
