Centre Director – St. Michael's Out of School Hours Care Program

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Centre Director to lead our St. Michael's Out of School Hours Care Program. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing leadership, vision, and guidance to our team of educators and support staff.
About the RoleThe Centre Director will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children aged 0-12 years
- Leading and managing a team of educators and support staff
- Developing and implementing programs that meet the needs of children and families
- Ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and staff
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the centre, including finances, human resources, and marketing
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma in Early Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Centre Director or Assistant Director
- A current ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
- First aid certificate, and asthma and anaphylaxis certificates
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to guide a team in providing quality early childhood education and care
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and National Quality Standards, particularly the My Time, Our Place framework
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- A current driver licence and own car (desirable)
