Assistant Director

Job Summary:
Community Services #1 is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director to join our Mawson Out of School Hours Care team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs and services to children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director in the day-to-day management of the program, ensuring all Educators, Families, and Children feel welcome and valued.
- Lead educational programs and services, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies that enhance the quality of care and education provided.
- Provide guidance and support to Educators, promoting their professional growth and development.
- Build strong relationships with families, schools, and the broader community, fostering a sense of belonging and partnership.
Requirements:
- Hold a Diploma in Early Education and Care or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years' experience working with School Age Children.
- Hold a current ACT WWVP card or be willing to obtain.
- Hold First Aid, asthma, and anaphylaxis certificates, or be willing to obtain.
- Have a strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including My Time Our Place or the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Be able to build strong, trusting relationships between children, families, schools, and team members.
