About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Centre Director to lead our Mawson Out of School Hours Care Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the centre's compliance and effective day-to-day operation, providing a safe and engaging environment for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the centre's leadership team to achieve program goals and ensure quality and consistency of care.
  • Oversee the curriculum and training of educators, fostering relationships with children, families, and the community.
  • Ensure centre compliance and effective day-to-day operation, including staff management and resource allocation.

Requirements
  • ACECQA-approved first qualified educator qualifications (Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or School Age Care, or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a Director, Assistant Director, or Coordinator role in an Early Learning Centre or Out of School Hours Care service.
  • Current ACT WWVP card or willingness to obtain.
  • First aid, asthma, and anaphylaxis certificates, or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including My Time Our Place or the Early Years Learning Framework.
