We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Centre Director to lead our Mawson Out of School Hours Care program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the centre's compliance and effective day-to-day operation, providing a safe and engaging environment for children.
About the Role:- Mawson OSHC is located at Mawson Primary school and is licensed for 143 children.
- The centre has a leadership team consisting of a Director, an Assistant Director, Team Leaders, and Deputy Team Leaders, as well as consistent casual educators.
- The Director is responsible for arranging staff and is counted above ratio.
- This is a permanent full-time position (76 hours/fortnight) working block shifts of either 7.00am-3.00pm or 10.00am-6.00pm, with split shifts required as needed.
- The successful candidate will receive an above award wage, including the Children's Services Award – Children's Services Employee Level 6, with a salary from $40.52-$48.86, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- An on-call allowance of $9.75 per day and a split shift allowance of $19.00 per day will also be provided.
- Above award hourly rates, based on experience and qualifications.
- Excellent salary packaging that can provide up to $18,550 of your gross pay tax-free.

- Hold the requirements for an ACECQA-approved first qualified educator, such as a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or School Age Care (or ACECQA equivalent), or 2 years of experience working with School Age Children and 2 years in a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in any field.
- Have experience working in a Director, Assistant Director, or Coordinator role in an Early Learning Centre or Out of School Hours Care service.
- Hold a current ACT WWVP card or be willing to obtain one.
- Have a First aid, asthma, and anaphylaxis certificates, or be willing to obtain them.
- Have a strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including My Time Our Place or the Early Years Learning Framework.
