About the Role

As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience across our organization. You will report into the HR leadership team and be responsible for coaching managers and employees on performance management, providing consultation on disciplinary actions, and advising on a range of employment matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach managers and employees on performance management, ensuring fair and just processes.
  • Consult on disciplinary actions and involuntary terminations, aligning with the Enterprise Agreement, legislation, contract, and policies.
  • Advise on employee issues such as reintegration plans and wellbeing, promoting a positive work environment.
  • MEDIATE employee conflicts and consult on changes in employment terms, ensuring compliance with local and regional employment laws.
About You

You are a true ER specialist, or have a blended background of ER/HR, with a solid knowledge of local/regional employment law, award interpretation, and application. You can lead case management of complex and sensitive employment matters, ensuring fair and just processes and alignment with the Enterprise Agreement, legislation, contract, and policies.

Desired Experience
  • Understanding of High Tech/Digital Transformation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of regional employment laws is essential.
