Join a dynamic team of engineers who are passionate about Site Reliability Engineering and systems engineering.

We're undergoing a major digital transformation, and we need your expertise to help us achieve our goal of providing customers with one of the best digital experiences in the world.

As a Principal Engineer in our SRE team, you'll be a technical leader responsible for designing and implementing large-scale solutions. You'll also influence and engage senior stakeholders on modern best practices for improving reliability throughout the software development lifecycle.

You'll work closely with our teams to ensure that our systems maintain the highest standards of service outcomes for our customers. This will enable seamless execution of our award-winning banking apps.

Our SRE team marries software engineering principles with operational services. We implement the latest industry-wide methodologies around observability practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing large-scale solutions
  • Influencing and engaging senior stakeholders on modern best practices for improving reliability
  • Leading a culture of data-driven reliability, monitoring, and automation aligned to SRE principles
  • Managing and scaling distributed systems in a public, private, or hybrid cloud environment
Requirements

We're looking for someone with strong experience in modern software development practices, including:

  • Expertise in at least one programming language (e.g., Golang, Python)
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy or similar
  • Public cloud experience in AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Experience leading teams of engineers driving outcomes using observability tools
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux internals, networking, containers, and troubleshooting
