IT Support Technician Specialist

Job DescriptionAs an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing first-line support for hardware and software issues across the group.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Managing and resolving helpdesk requests in a timely manner and recording outcomes in a ticketing system.
- Assisting with day-to-day system troubleshooting of user hardware and software problems.
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Performing installations and software upgrades.
- Providing printer, laptop & mobile device support.
- Assisting in the coordination and implementation of system updates.
- Troubleshooting, administering and upgrading LAN/WAN infrastructure to maintain speed, security and integrity.
- Creating and managing user accounts and permissions.
- Managing Virtual Machine infrastructure.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT Help desk support and network management role.
- Knowledge and experience in Active Directory, Azure, Office 365.
- Virtual infrastructure experience.
- Relevant qualification in Information Technology is highly regarded.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced network diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Excellent ability to multi-task and work against multiple priorities.
- High level of professionalism with sensitivity to confidential information.
