About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Allergy and Immunology department at the Women's and Children's Health Network. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing administrative support to our medical and nursing directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing confidential secretarial and reception services to the Allergy and Clinical Immunology Department.
  • Undertaking responsibilities autonomously and making decisions as directed by the Nurse Practitioner.
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide excellent service to patients, staff, and students.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in providing administrative support, including drafting and editing correspondence and managing records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, promoting a multi-disciplinary approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, including effective communication with consumers, staff, external agencies, and the public.
  • Proven initiative and sound organisational skills to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

  • A salary range of $58,709 to $63,154 per annum.
