Aboriginal Vaccination Healthcare Specialist

This is an opportunity to contribute to the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal children and families across the Central Coast.
You will be working as part of a dedicated Public Health team focused on improving access to immunisation services and lifting vaccination rates.
About The RoleThe successful applicant will deliver education and vaccinations that protect the community and reduce the impact of vaccine-preventable diseases.
About You- Must be a Registered Nurse or Midwife with current registration with AHPRA.
- Must have NSW Accreditation as an Authorised Nurse/Midwife Immuniser, or be working towards accreditation.
- Knowledge of best practice immunisation principles and guidelines, with an understanding of Aboriginal health needs is essential.
- A strong ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal families, community members, and multidisciplinary teams is required.
- Must be committed to working within professional and ethical boundaries in a team-based healthcare environment.
- A current NSW Driver's Licence is also required.
