Aboriginal Registered Nurse/Midwife Opportunity

We are seeking an Aboriginal Registered Nurse or Midwife to improve the health of Aboriginal families and community on the Central Coast.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Improve access to immunisation services for Aboriginal families.
  • Lift vaccination rates among Aboriginal communities.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with AHPRA.
  • NSW Accreditation as an Authorised Nurse/Midwife Immuniser, or working towards accreditation.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice immunisation principles and guidelines.
  • Ability to effectively engage with Aboriginal families, community members, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to working within professional and ethical boundaries in a healthcare environment.
