About This Opportunity:

This part-time role provides a chance to contribute to the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal families and community on the Central Coast.

The position involves delivering education and vaccinations that protect the community and reduce the impact of vaccine-preventable diseases.

As an Aboriginal Immunisation Registered Nurse, you will work with local organisations and health providers as part of the WAVE Program.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted education and vaccination programs to improve immunisation rates and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and local partners to achieve program goals.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to ensure effective healthcare delivery.

Key Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with relevant certification.
  • NSW Accreditation as an Authorised Nurse/Midwife Immuniser.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice immunisation principles and guidelines.
  • Ability to engage effectively with Aboriginal families and community members.
