Improve Health Outcomes for Aboriginal Families
About the RoleThis part-time position involves collaborating with local health providers to enhance the well-being of Aboriginal communities on the Central Coast. You will deliver education and vaccinations to protect community members and reduce the impact of vaccine-preventable diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver immunisation services in accordance with best practice principles and guidelines.
- Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, local organisations, and health providers to achieve positive health outcomes.
- Engage with Aboriginal families and community members to promote education and vaccination uptake.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with AHPRA.
- NSW Accreditation as an Authorised Nurse/Midwife Immuniser, or working towards accreditation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to working within professional and ethical boundaries in a team-based healthcare environment.
