Executive Chef Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef to join our hotel community. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on supervision of the restaurant, ensuring a consistently high-quality product.
- Maintain the highest hygiene standards to meet Health & Safety regulations.
- Actively share ideas and suggestions to improve the kitchen environment and menus.
- Manage food costs through careful preparation, service, and storage of food.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar role, within high-end dining operations.
- Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a diverse team.
- Certificate in Commercial Cookery Level 4 or above or equivalent.
- Proven experience in leading, training and developing teams.
