Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow business.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with existing and potential customers, partners and vendors.
  • Define and execute proactive business development strategies to achieve company and individual targets.
  • Analyse and deploy effective sales techniques to improve revenue retention and gross profit margins.
  • Lead the sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the company's value proposition.
  • Monitor sales performance and activity, analyse data, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain a sales pipeline and monthly reporting, actively monitoring progress to ensure that company and individual KPIs are being met.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns and provide feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the management team based on market insights and intelligence.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on business development activities, sales performance and revenue projections.
  • Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable strategies.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in business development or sales, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Proven track record of supporting business growth, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience working with Federal and State Government clients and understanding complex sales cycles is essential.
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or a related field preferred.
