Job Title: Sales and Business Growth Specialist

Slalom is a global consulting company that helps organizations achieve their goals. We are currently seeking a Sales and Business Growth Specialist to join our team in Canberra.



Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will serve our clients as a trusted partner, building and executing customized business plans and predictable sales engagement processes. Key responsibilities include:



  • Driving activity in partnership with account and practice teams, working closely with the Slalom Technology partners
  • Working with new and existing clients to build a pipeline and secure new long-term accounts and relationships for Slalom
  • Meeting with buyers within a territory to learn more about client initiatives and represent Slalom capabilities
  • Creating and sustaining a diverse book of business among offerings and accounts
  • Leveraging Slalom Sales platforms to drive a forward-looking forecast while collaborating with Account and Practice leaders
  • May be practice-focused while working to lead Alliance relationships
  • Getting to know our consultants and working with them to leverage their networks to identify opportunities
  • Playing a leading role in new and identified accounts
  • Hosting and facilitating Slalom marketing events
  • Being the primary liaison with some of our client's most senior executives
  • Mentoring other sellers within the market, including the sales, account, partner, and practice teams


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • To be passionate about sales and technology, collaborating with clients and alliance partners to ensure growth for their business
  • To have 5+ years of sales experience within Professional Services
  • To have proven experience in creating, managing, and executing a complete sales cycle
  • To be able to work in ambiguity and thrive in creating and establishing new contacts and opportunities for Slalom and local networks
  • To have a strong relationship focus with a process orientation, coupled with the ability to work with virtual and in-person teams
  • To have budget and deal management experience, including relationship management, scoping, solutioning, pricing, and contracting of new engagements
  • To be experienced in building relationships across the business, including CXOs and business decision-makers
  • To be skilled at leading teams through complex technology solution sales
  • To be experienced and adept at aligning teams to work toward a common goal, consistently demonstrating strong people and financial management skills
  • To be creative and innovative, seen as forward-thinking in approach, while collaborating and delivering as part of a team
  • To be a self-starter with a desire to work within a dynamic team of professional services specialists, leading, participating, and supporting as required by the opportunity

We are a hybrid company, and while we offer flexibility, there may be requirements to work on-site from time to time.
