About the Role

As a Service Desk Support Officer, you will assist our client in managing ICT capabilities and provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support following ITIL methodology.

You will be working with various technologies, including ServiceNow, call centres, and image devices. This role requires a Baseline security clearance and involves shift work from 7am to 7pm, with some weekend work required.

Your Responsibilities

- Provide technical support using ITIL methodology and ServiceNow
- Assist with call centre operations and image device deployment
- Offer face-to-face floor walking assistance for users of the Digital Connect Program
- Help staff backup personal data on departmental issued devices
- Follow asset management procedures
- Provide logistic support and document technical issues
- Escalate problems to specialist teams as needed
- Document known issues and contribute to knowledge articles.

Requirements

- Baseline Security Clearance as a minimum
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in Government
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow and ITIL
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
