Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support group, you will provide first-level IT support across software, hardware, and network issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service to our clients by resolving technical queries and troubleshooting issues.
  • Document calls, incidents, and requests accurately in our systems to ensure seamless support delivery.
  • Assign and track incidents to ensure they reach the right support group for timely resolution.
  • Act as a single point of contact for logged issues, performing diagnostics and initiating problem management workflows.
  • Mentor, guide, or train service desk staff when required to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Support multiple clients with professionalism and strong customer service.
  • Manage your workload to meet service levels while maintaining accurate data.
  • Work flexibly in a 24/7 rotating roster (including nights and weekends).

Requirements:

  • Able to obtain NV1 Security Clearance (with potential for NV2 clearance).
  • Prior customer service experience is highly valued.
  • At least 1 year of IT Service Desk experience preferred.
  • Certificate or training in IT (or equivalent hands-on experience).
