Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to partner with wholesale customers on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. This role involves driving growth through education on new products and promotions, identifying product opportunities, and providing ongoing account management support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development:
  • Lead generation, referral schemes, and sales visits to discuss product benefits, merchandise, and delivery turnarounds.
  • Demonstrations of online ordering and retention strategies to maintain client relationships.
  • Account Management:
  • First point of contact for customer concerns and priority resolution.
  • Calls and visits to advise on new products, promotions, deadlines, and guidance on the ordering process.
  • Assisting new customers with technology troubleshooting and communicating supplier issues.
  • Merchandising:
  • Ensuring optimal brand positioning and product display in-store to drive maximum sales.
  • Analyzing merchandising trends to predict local impact and working with the wholesale team to devise strategic sales and marketing strategies.
  • Administration:
  • Completing weekly sales reports, forecasts, and chase sheets.
  • Managing pricing and product lists, processing customer credits, and attending weekly sales meetings.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of business development experience.
  • 1+ FMCG Sales Experience.
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle and proven success at converting leads into client sales.
  • Experience working within the retail industry or with diverse clients.
  • Excellent personal presentation, articulate communication, and strong relationship management skills.
