About the Role

Fever is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Event Manager to join our team in Kraków. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our Candlelight Concerts in Kraków.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Management: Act as the main point of contact onsite for Candlelight events and staff, communicating directly with Fever Originals manager.
  • Staff Management: Full visibility into staff roster, set schedule, and communicate with the staffing agency about any reschedules of events.
  • Training and Development: Ensure each staff member is trained in their duties, whether it is validating tickets, accommodating guests to their seats, or setting up the candles in the venue in preparation for the concert.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Drive uHaul with event supplies to and from concert venues (if a candidate is not able to drive or does not have a valid driver's license, alternative methods of transporting supplies may be arranged).
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory and track supplies for venues.
  • Printing and Guest List Management: Manage any printing needs and guest lists for all events.
  • Event Opening and Closing Remarks: Manage the opening and closing remarks at events (this will usually consist of a recorded speech, but may require public speaking on an occasional basis).
  • Weekly Reporting: Weekly reporting to Fever Originals Project Managers about the status of each event, including both the pre and post-event findings and feedback.
  • Venue Evaluation and Execution: Occasionally assist with evaluating and executing walk-throughs of potential venues.
  • Brand Representation: Represent both the Fever and Candlelight brand fully through professional communication and management, acting as the main customer service representative at every event.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in event management and/or a relevant degree (preferred).
  • Interest and Passion: Interest and passion for live music and organizing events.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Polish and English.
  • Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience leading an on-site team.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Good ability to work in a pressured environment.
  • AV and PA Systems Knowledge: Knowledge of AV and PA systems (desirable).
