Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role in Sydney is $120,000 - $180,000 AUD, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes flexible working arrangements, two Global Wellbeing Days per year, and a variety of working style solutions.

Job Description

As a Technical and Claims Advocate at Aon, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client and insurance claims from initiation to resolution. This involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring regulatory and case law developments, and providing policy advice and drafting.

You will be the primary point of contact for clients and insurers, ensuring claims are managed within agreed timelines and budgets. You will also handle training and development of claims consultants nationwide, and participate in business development opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a strong customer service focus
  • commercial claims experience with a strong working knowledge of Financial Lines
  • experience taking on additional role responsibilities and ability to take on senior tasks
  • ability to work and positively contribute as a member of the team
  • strong prioritisation and time management skills
  • well-developed verbal and written communication skills to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders
