About The Role

The Community Outreach Professional will be responsible for growing and maintaining enrolments in our foundation skills courses across NSW. As a member of the Education team, you will work collaboratively with various services and agencies to increase and maintain enrolments of deaf learners in foundation skills programs delivered in NSW.

You will report to and work under the supervision of the Team Leader, Foundation Skills Qualifications, achieving high-level outcomes in learner support, community engagement and consultation areas.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum 2 years' experience in community development, outreach or teaching
  • Experience supporting deaf adults with learning needs
  • Understanding of foundation skills courses and student needs
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly proficient Auslan skills
  • Willingness to travel around NSW and work flexible hours, including some weekends

The estimated salary for this role is AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you have the required skills and qualifications, please submit your application.
