About the Role

The Intellectual Disability Clinician will work closely with mainstream health staff to develop and implement appropriate clinical practices for patients with intellectual disability and their carers and families. This will involve leading multidisciplinary assessments and care planning, as well as building the skills and confidence of clinicians in the district.

Job Description

This is a maternity leave relief opportunity, working in partnership with the incumbent clinician. The successful candidate will be based within the Murrumbidgee Local Health District, with consideration given to out-of-district applicants on a merit basis.

Salary and Benefits

">

We offer a competitive salary range of $108,595.00 - $112,114.00 per annum, pro rata, plus superannuation and 17.5% leave loading. In addition to this, we provide a range of benefits, including salary packaging up to $20,600 per annum tax-free for living expenses, novated leasing of a new car, subsidised gym and leisure centre membership, and free confidential counselling services for employees and their families.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant qualifications and experience as an Allied Health Professional, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, and Social Workers. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
