This is a B2B PR Manager position with one of the leading companies in Australia, Montu. The company continues to expand rapidly.

### Job Overview at Montu

The Public Relations Manager will develop and execute a PR and media relations strategy for the B2B side of the Montu organisation. This role aims to build the reputation of Leafio and Montu, ensuring effective media coverage and stakeholder relationships. The PR Manager will create and disseminate media releases, assist in content coordination, and develop key relationships with journalists and influencers.

### Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement media communications strategies aligned with business objectives
- Assist in quarterly media planning and KPI development
- Contribute to PR strategic planning and reporting
- Produce regular media placement reports and analysis
- Implement both media and non-media PR initiatives

### Media Outreach and Pitching

- Understand brand complexities and competitive positioning for targeted pitches
- Identify opportunities for proactive and reactive pitching
- Manage pitching follow-through and obtain story placements
- Develop target publication lists and contributor stories

### Stakeholder Relations

- Build and maintain positive relationships with key media contacts
- Manage media requests, queries, and communications
- Assist in Brand PR programs and digital media kit development

### Quality Control

- Ensure external communications meet brand standards
- Iterate work based on input and feedback
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings

### Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications
- 8+ years of experience in PR/media relations
- Solid strategic capability and project management skills
- Experience with digital and social media platforms
- Familiarity with multi-brand environments
