Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our footprint within the red meat industry, managing the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients, generating leads and driving new business opportunities.
  2. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
  3. Presentation and Communication: Present our products and services to prospective clients, effectively communicating our value proposition.
  4. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  5. Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate reporting.
  6. Negotiation and Client Relationship: Lead contract negotiations, close deals and maintain positive client relationships.
  7. Performance Analysis: Analyse sales data and performance metrics to improve efficiency and track success.

About You:

  • You have proven success in business development, preferably within a startup or scale-up environment.
  • You have experience selling technical solutions or software, with an understanding of the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • You possess a results-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets.
  • You have strong communication skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders and negotiate effectively.
  • You are confident in analysing data to identify key insights and effectively distilling key information to present to clients.
  • You have familiarity with CRM systems for lead management and tracking sales performance.
  • You have a passion for the red meat industry, with a desire to learn and contribute to our growth.
