Job DescriptionThis role reports directly to the Director Commercial Australia and is responsible for driving hotel performance and achieving key commercial KPIs. Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of hotels, assisting operational leaders, and helping develop commercial skills with our hotel teams. Lead hotel pre-opening projects in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Revenue, and Communication teams.
Analyse results, propose improvements, and ensure the effective use of Accor tools and processes. This role is accountable for implementing the strategic direction from the Accor Pacific Office, MEA APAC, and Central Offices.
Key objectives include:
- • Implementing strategic direction and commercial plans across the region.
- • Collaborating with Operational leaders and hotel commercial teams to leverage and activate commercial initiatives.
- • Analysing commercial performance and providing recommendations to enhance performance across channels and systems.
- • Supporting training, coaching, and talent development of hotel commercial teams.
- • Onboarding new hotels and overseeing the development of appropriate commercial plans, including pre-opening and hotel business plans.
- • Supporting key supplier relationships, managing major precinct tenders, and exploring new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
- • Developing in-depth market knowledge across geographies to support properties in maximising commercial opportunities.
To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:
- • A Bachelor of Business (preferred) or equivalent degree.
- • At least 5 years' experience in Revenue Management or senior Sales & Marketing roles.
- • Strong knowledge of Hotel Operations and Distribution.
- • Familiarity with Accor systems and tools (desirable).
- • Proficiency in reporting tools (Tableau) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- • Excellent project management skills.
- • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
