About the Role
- As a Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in implementing, monitoring, and enhancing safety protocols on roadworks projects. This involves regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain tailored safety policies and procedures for roadworks and infrastructure projects.
- Conduct incident investigations and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Deliver safety inductions and ongoing training to site personnel.
- Collaborate with project teams to address any safety concerns proactively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a safety role within the civil construction industry, preferably with a focus on roadworks.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to roadworks.
