About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking WHS Officer to join our dynamic team in Sydney. As the WHS Officer, you will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety within the organisation.

Reporting to the Safety Manager and Project Director, you will monitor site activities to identify and mitigate hazards, ensuring safe work practices are upheld. You will also develop and implement policies to enhance awareness of occupational health and safety, driving compliance and fostering a shared commitment to workplace well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on provisions to minimise safety risks and hazards
  • Direct accident investigation procedures
  • Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
  • Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
Requirements
  • Minimum Cert IV in OH&S/WHS
  • Proven experience as in a safety officer role
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
  • Diligent with an analytical mind
