Global Safety and Incident Response Coordinator

The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Safety and Incident Response Specialist. As part of our Operations team, you will be responsible for managing customer risk and safety by focusing on proactive operational safety measures and crisis management. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support during their tours.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Communications Systems: You will be responsible for managing our 24/7 incident response setup, including communication systems and processes.
- Manage On-Tour Incidents: This includes managing operational issues, medical incidents, and acts of terror. Your expertise will be invaluable in responding to these situations and ensuring the well-being of our customers.
- Overall Responsibility: For Global Incident Response, you will be responsible for overseeing incidents occurring during your local business hours.
- Develop and Execute Training: You will develop and execute training for relevant parties on their respective safety and emergency response responsibilities.
- Collaborate with Regional Operations Teams: You will work closely with regional operations teams to implement controls that mitigate risk to operational components.
- Oversee Execution of Controls: You will oversee the execution of controls to ensure compliance.
- Liaise with Team Members: You will liaise with teammates to ensure consistency of relevant policies, procedures, and application of safety decisions.
- Perpetuate a Culture of Safety: You will perpetuate a culture of safety throughout the organization.
- Promote Risk Management Standards: You will promote risk management standards aligned with ISO 31000:2018 and ISO 31030:2021.
- Innovate in Partnership: You will innovate in partnership with other operations teams, sales, and regional offices to drive process and procedural efficiencies.
- Complete fluency in English, and preferably Japanese or a European-based language.
- Engaging trainer and excellent communicator.
- Creative problem solver – ability to look beyond standard resolutions and create creative solutions to challenging and dynamic challenges.

- One to three years of experience in customer service/sales/operations experience.
- Regional knowledge and EF Tours experience is a bonus.
- To be considered for this role, applicants must have the legal right to live and work in Australia.
This role offers an estimated salary of $85,000 - $110,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a wide range of benefits, including:
