Job Overview

A strategic professional is required to provide expert consulting services as a Consultant. You will be an advisor to law firms and corporate legal departments in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consulting on best practices for eDiscovery, digital forensics, and data management in high-stakes litigation, regulatory inquiries, and internal investigations.
  • Translate complex legal challenges into practical technology-driven workflows using GenAI, TAR, and data visualisation platforms.
  • Build client relationships by working with the Business Development team and serving as a key point of contact for clients, building partnerships and identifying opportunities to provide value.
  • Stay ahead of emerging legal technology trends and educate clients and colleagues on new solutions that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and save costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You are a lawyer with a current Australian practising certificate or admission as a lawyer in an Australian jurisdiction.
  • You have practical experience in litigation, disputes, or a related field within a law firm or in-house legal team, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
  • You are a problem solver with a passion for technology and a desire to transition your career from traditional legal practice to a consultative role.
  • You are a great communicator able to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences and build strong client relationships.
  • Bonus points if you have prior experience with eDiscovery platforms or demonstrated interest in legal technology.
