is seeking a motivated and strategically minded lawyer to join our expert team as a Consultant. In this role, you'll be a trusted advisor to Australia's leading law firms and corporate legal departments, helping them navigate complex legal matters by leveraging cutting-edge technology. This is a rare opportunity to apply your legal knowledge in a dynamic, client-facing advisory role that sits at the intersection of law, business, and technology.

What You'll Do

  • Provide Strategic Consulting:
    Advise clients on best practices for
    eDiscovery
    , digital forensics, and data management in high-stakes litigation, regulatory inquiries, and internal investigations.
  • Bridge Law and Technology:
    Use your firsthand experience with legal matters to translate complex legal challenges into practical, technology-driven workflows using advanced tools like GenAI, Technology-Assisted Review (TAR), and data visualisation platforms.
  • Cultivate Client Relationships:
    working alongside our Business Development team and serve as a key point of contact for clients, building long-term partnerships and identifying opportunities to provide strategic value.
  • Innovate and Educate:
    Stay ahead of emerging legal technology trends and educate clients and colleagues on new solutions that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and save costs.

What You'll Bring

  • You're a Lawyer:
    You hold a current Australian practising certificate or are admitted as a lawyer in an Australian jurisdiction.
  • You Have Practical Experience:
    You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in litigation, disputes, or a related field within a law firm or in-house legal team. This experience is what makes you uniquely qualified for this role.
  • You're a Problem Solver:
    You have a genuine passion for technology and a strong desire to transition your career from traditional legal practice to a consultative role.
  • You're a Great Communicator:
    You can clearly articulate complex legal and technical concepts to a variety of audiences and build strong, trusting client relationships.
  • Bonus Points:
    You have prior experience with eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity) or have demonstrated an interest in legal technology.
