
X-Ray Specialist

We are seeking a new graduate radiographer to join our team and start their career in diagnostic medical imaging.
- You will be working within a high-quality Diagnostic Medical Imaging service, providing general imaging services including modalities such intra-operative fluoroscopy, mobile x-ray, and fixed fluoroscopy.
- Provide high-quality diagnostic medical imaging services in accordance with National registration, professional practices, standards, and policies of the Imaging Department specific to Hunter New England Local Health District.
- Work as part of a shift roster, participating in rosters, overtime, and on-call duties as required by the site.
- A degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent prior to commencement of the role is essential.
- Registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA) is mandatory.
- A current NSW EPA Radiation licence is also required.
- A current NSW Driver's license is necessary for the role.
- Gaining hands-on experience and developing skills and knowledge during your new graduate year is a significant advantage.
- Support from Senior Radiographers, Assistant Chief Radiographers, and Chief Radiographers at each site is available.
