Job Title: Biomedical Equipment Specialist

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services to advanced radiation therapy equipment used in the treatment of cancer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, repair, and maintain radiation therapy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to meet the needs of clinical services.
  • Communicate effectively with medical physicists, clinicians, and other stakeholders to provide technical advice and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent, or extensive practical experience in complex electro-mechanical system maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to clearly explain technical information to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with radiation oncology equipment, including high-energy x-ray medical linear accelerators, and radioactive substances.
  • Team player with strong organizational skills, prioritization, and adaptability.
