Role Overview

Aviation Screening Officers play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of air travel.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Aviation Screening Officer, responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of people and goods through the screening point.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, clear verbal communication skills, and the ability to handle pressure effectively.

  • Control the flow of people and goods through the screening point.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and respond to their queries.
  • Maintain complete concentration for the entire twenty-minute rotation while performing tasks.
  • View images of items passing through the x-ray unit and decide if the contents fall into one of three categories: safe, possible threat, or obvious threat.
Key Qualifications:
  • Current 1A Security License.
  • Valid and current First Aid Certificate.
  • Fully certified and accredited to perform Aviation Screening duties.
  • Hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
