Job Description

Biomedical Engineers play a pivotal role in the maintenance and repair of advanced radiation therapy equipment used in cancer treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine service, repair, and maintenance of radiation therapy apparatus to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Provide timely and effective support to maintain clinical services, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with medical physics teams, equipment suppliers, and service agents to address technical issues and improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records in accordance with established requirements.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering or equivalent qualification, coupled with extensive practical experience or 5 years' experience in complex electro-mechanical system maintenance and repair.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling clear articulation of technical advice and guidance to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform repairs and maintenance on radiation oncology equipment, including high-energy x-ray medical linear accelerators and devices containing radioactive substances.
  • Willingness to undertake necessary training, potentially overseas, as required.
  • Proven team player with organizational skills, adept at multitasking, prioritization, and adapting to rapid change.
