**Job Title:** Disability Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated and person-centred Support Workers to assist our clients in Central Coast. Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for providing support to people with physical and mental health challenges, helping them achieve their goals and live an independent life.

The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans, accessing the community to build confidence, mentoring clients on appropriate behaviours, and supporting clients in learning life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing client's Positive Behaviour Support Plans
  • Accessing the community to build confidence
  • Mentoring clients on appropriate behaviours
  • Supporting clients in learning life skills

Requirements:

  • Cert III in Mental Health/Disability/Community Services or similar
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Valid Full drivers' licence and reliable transport
  • Proof of up-to-date Covid-19 Vaccination
  • Experience in Bowel Care, Catheter Care and Manual Handling
