Role Overview">

The Rostering Officer plays a vital role in Crescent Respite, contributing to the delivery of exceptional disability support. This opportunity allows individuals to build their career in a rapidly expanding organization.

This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for scheduling shifts for Support Workers across various NDIS client settings. Additionally, the Rostering Officer will assist with administrative tasks and ensure inquiries are directed to the relevant department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage rosters in line with the Annual Workforce Plan.
  • Respond to phone calls and address client and stakeholder inquiries effectively.
  • Schedule support staff and guarantee all shifts are filled promptly.
  • Match skilled staff with clients based on their care plans.
  • Identify gaps in the roster and maintain a pool of credentialed support workers ready for shifts.
  • Develop strong relationships and communicate effectively with NDIS stakeholders.
  • Report incidents immediately in accordance with NDIS Incident Reporting procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in rostering within the healthcare sector (desired).
  • A genuine passion for working in the community services sector and supporting clients with disabilities.
  • The ability to perform under pressure and maintain composure in challenging situations.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging and communicating across internal and external stakeholders.
  • A solutions-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and problem-solving.
