Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Ripple Opportunities Full time

About the role
- We are open to a spectrum of experience for these early-mid career role(s) in Sydney and Canberra. Whether you're starting out, expanding your expertise or bringing grants experience, we're eager to hear how we can create impact together._

Why you might love this opportunity:

- Excited to start or grow your social impact journey? In this role, you'll work with community leaders, social enterprises, philanthropists, and government partners - seeing firsthand how they come together to drive real, lasting change. Gain valuable social justice experience and insider knowledge of how Australia's top change-makers secure funding, create transformation, and measure impact. This is your launchpad to hands-on learning, deeper impact, and connecting with a network of purpose-driven pros.
- You'll be joining a values-led team; with our board, CEO and team all having highly impactful careers that inform their leadership. Grounded in humility, empathy, and social justice, we believe in the power of collaboration—working alongside our partners to amplify their work and build sustainable, community-led solutions.
- ? Our impact in action (2024): Over $13M invested in 167 projects tackling everything from gender equality and Indigenous health to education, homelessness, and economic justice. With 80+ grassroots organisations funded and 36 social entrepreneurs driving change, we're powering diverse solutions that are creating lasting impact across Australia.
- As an Administration & Grants Assistant, you'll be a key supporter of the Foundation's Sydney or Canberra team, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes with your love of organisation (perhaps colour coded spreadsheets spark joy?), integrity and discretion. From scheduling meetings to managing inboxes, you've got it covered because you love working across projects and understand how this unlocks space for the team to do their best work and create impact.
- ? We know you're more than just an admin go-getter; you're tech-comfy and a general organiser, multitasker, and optimistic team person. You're ready to dive into new systems and help manage tasks, documents, schedules, and events, all while making our grants system your go-to tool. Team need support? You've got it covered - whether it's running a report or kicking off some light research, you're all in because this isn't just a job, it's a mission you believe in.
- Bonus: We're flexible on where your experience has come from. Whether you're looking for a break-through opportunity to leverage your volunteer and community work, growing your career, or looking for a purpose-driven place to transfer skills built elsewhere, we've got space. This position includes our hybrid working model.

What's involved:

- ?? 40% Admin and Team Supporter
If you're a lover of organisation and planning to make collaboration seamless and efficient, this could be the role for you Diary wrangling? Check. Event logistics? Check. Random-but-essential admin? Double check. Whether it's calendars, meetings, or board reports, you're the behind-the-scenes MVP, you'll turn busy days into smooth operations.?? 30% Grants Assistance
You'll be the grants system go-to person (in no time) - setting up profiles, tracking progress, and keeping impact data, documentation & communications up to date. From running reports to filing documents so well they practically smile, your knack for efficiency and comfort with harnessing new digital tools (whether it's Sharepoint or an F1 Grants system) will ensure everything flows smoother than gelato on a hot summer day.

?? 30% Stakeholder & Comms Champ
You'll be the friendly face (or inbox superstar) for team and stakeholder inquiries, spreading warmth and professionalism. Whether it's a retreat, graduation, or team event, you'll build trust with diverse stakeholders, adapt to the fast-paced for-purpose world, and use your top-notch comms skills to keep things humming along like your favourite Spotify playlist.
