About the Role:

Samaritans is seeking a skilled Clinical Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As an Early Intervention Mental Health Clinician, you will work with young people to assess their mental health needs and develop treatment plans to support their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial intake and assessment of young people's mental health needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to support young people's mental health and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to young people
  • Provide education and support to young people and their families on mental health issues and treatment options

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with young people and their families to assess and support mental health needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
