As an Experienced Speech Pathologist - Clinical Specialist, you'll play a vital role in helping people build their confidence and skills, enabling them to participate fully in their communities.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our team in Maitland. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll work closely with participants, families, and carers to develop and implement personalized therapy plans that promote independence and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored therapy plans to address communication and social skills needs
  • Collaborate with participants, families, and carers to set and achieve goals, promoting independence and participation in daily life
  • Provide expert guidance and support to participants and their support networks, empowering them to make informed decisions and take control of their lives
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services, ensuring best practice and evidence-based approaches
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our services and outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
