We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our Defence sector team at Duratec Australia. As a key member of our projects team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of Defence sector construction, refurbishment, and remediation projects across the Newcastle and Hunter regions.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan and coordinate works, equipment, and personnel.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Compile and create QA/QC documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate direct labour workforce, suppliers, and sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Programming and Scheduling: Develop and implement project schedules to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and team members.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Proactively identify and resolve project-related issues, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Post-Graduate Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the building and construction industry.
- Tertiary Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and develop stakeholder relationships.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills: High level of attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
