Dementia Care Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Dementia Care Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work independently with minimal supervision, providing tailored and individualised responsive care for residents.
As a core member of the residential team, you will work closely with management and carers to deliver high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising and supporting care staff in delivering person-centred care
- Educating and mentoring colleagues in clinical areas and processes
- Contributing to case management and clinical decision-making
- Providing clinical oversight and ensuring professional competence as a Registered Nurse
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum 3 years' experience as a registered nurse, working alone and in a team
- Flexibility to commit to a range of shifts across 7 days
- Knowledge and experience of people living with dementia and their needs
- Familiarity with medical record systems
