About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work on the DREAM project, which aims to enhance workforce capacity in respite dementia care. As a Dementia Support Coach, you will collaborate with staff within community organisations and residential aged care settings, delivering tailored education and mentoring based on core educational modules.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on support, implement relationship-based support strategies, model and coach clients, carers and care staff.
  • Work collaboratively with peers to develop the skills, expertise and/or applied knowledge of aged care staff and carers.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational abilities, including effective time management and ability to prioritise in a busy work environment. They will also have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service principles and be willing to travel and work flexible hours as required.

Requirements:
  • A current driver's licence and safe driving record.
  • Qualification in a relevant field such as Allied Health assistant, Diversional Therapy, Enrolled Nursing (EN), Aged Care, Cert III or IV in Individual Support / Leisure and Health.

This role is offered as a Fixed Term Contract until September 2026. The successful candidate will be part of a purpose-driven team that values innovation, flexibility, and compassionate care.
