At our company, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our Business Development team in Sydney.
About the Role">This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to proactively identify, evaluate, and acquire new business opportunities in the entertainment industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a database of contacts, providing innovative product and installation solutions, and delivering on annual sales targets.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, display initiative and technical ability, and be a proactive team member driven towards new business generating activities.

- Proactively identify, evaluate, and acquire new business opportunities in the entertainment industry.
- Develop and maintain a database of contacts for repeat and future business.
- Provide innovative product and installation solutions that provide value for clients.
- Recommend lighting, rigging and/or staging solutions in complex installations.
- Provide technical and application support and answer product information requests.
- Demonstrate products to consultants and clients with dynamic product presentations and showcase events.
- Identify up-sell opportunities, issue quotes, tenders and negotiate prices.
- Participate in industry trade shows and networking events where required.
- Monitor sales activity and provide monthly reports to senior management.
- Deliver on annual sales targets.
