Strategic Governance and Risk Leadership Opportunity

This is a high-profile leadership position, responsible for developing and implementing effective governance frameworks to drive decision-making and ensure strategic success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust governance frameworks to drive strategic outcomes and enhance compliance.
  • Chair the Audit, Risk & Improvement Committee (ARIC) to ensure high standards of governance and compliance are maintained.
  • Oversee statutory compliance obligations, corporate registers, and integrated planning/reporting requirements.
  • Lead the organization's insurance portfolio and manage high-level claims.
  • Act as the Public Officer and manage Freedom of Information (GIPA) and Privacy matters.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in governance, law, policy, risk management, or business are essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in governance, legal, or administrative roles involving risk management practices is required.
  • A sound understanding of relevant legislation and the ability to interpret and apply statutory requirements with accuracy and confidence is necessary.
