Job Title: Treasury Risk

As a seasoned professional in Audit, Compliance or Risk Assurance with experience in Financial Markets, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness of key business controls as a dedicated 2nd LoD function.

The position requires a deep understanding of governance and risk policies, procedures & programs to implement and maintain them.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver scheduled and ad hoc assurance activities for the Institutional Bank's Finance & Treasury Control function.
  • Perform independent reviews on the effectiveness of key business controls.
  • Implement governance and risk policies, procedures & programs.
  • Document findings and deliver assurance opinions, collaborate and challenge the business when necessary.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments of Business, Project, Tender and Investment risks profiles.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Ops Risk, Compliance & Group Audit teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years hands-on risk assurance experience in Financial Markets, Banking Treasury or Finance.
  • Excellent knowledge of Global Markets and Treasury Control workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design and execute testing plans.
  • Ability to develop and implement operational risk frameworks for large organisations from a holistic viewpoint.
  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiatives to drive results.
  • Regulatory reporting and/or critical review experience is highly valued.
