Job Title

We are seeking a talented professional to join our team as the Risk Governance Manager.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk governance strategy, ensuring seamless integration with strategic execution, reporting, and data analytics across our operations in Australia.

This includes collaborating with senior leadership and various business units to embed risk considerations into strategic initiatives and operational processes, promoting a culture of risk awareness.

The Risk Governance Manager will also establish and maintain integrated reporting mechanisms that provide timely insights into risk management activities, governance effectiveness, and compliance status for senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.

Additionally, this role will support the development and delivery of training programs focused on risk management tools and systems, ensuring employees are equipped to leverage data and analytics effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • University-level qualifications in finance, law, business management, economics, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in governance, regulatory compliance, or legal areas, particularly within the financial services sector in Australia, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom.
  • Strong understanding of risk management systems, frameworks, and compliance requirements, with the ability to provide strategic advice to senior executives and Board stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives and Boards.
